About the Rookie Lifeguard Programme

The RLSS Rookie Lifeguard program is a comprehensive training scheme designed for young people to develop vital water safety skills and basic life-saving techniques. It provides an engaging and educational experience, combining theoretical knowledge with practical exercises in a fun and supportive environment. Participants progress through three distinct levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each level builds on the skills and knowledge acquired in the previous one, covering areas such as swimming proficiency, first aid, and rescue techniques. As they advance, participants earn certificates for each module completed, boosting their confidence and competence in water safety. This program not only instills a sense of responsibility and teamwork but also prepares young lifeguards for future roles in aquatic safety.
