Upgrade revealed @LeisureWorld Churchfield
LW Management has announced an upgrade of their gym facilities at LeisureWorld Churchfield, Knockfree Avenue on the North side of Cork City. This upgrade is part of their plans to build modern, sustainable and competitive public leisure experiences that will serve the people of Cork for many years to come.
The investment in improving the facilities was funded in partnership with Cork City Council and delivers a fully equipped, spacious experience not to mention the best views of Cork City.
The upgrade includes:
- Increased space to allow for functional and body weight based modern training methods including a range of cardio equipment, resistance machines, free weights, racks, benches as well as a dedicated functional and core training space across 2 separate training rooms.
- New strength training areas with high quality equipment that improves accessibility and ease of use from cardio equipment such as concept 2 rowers, state of the art treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and spinning bikes in addition to free weight facilities include lifting platforms, power racks, benches, barbells, hex bars, EZ curl bars and dumbbells from 2kg to 50kg and functional training gear that includes a range of resistance bands, medicine balls, kettle-bells, ab rollers, swiss balls and pull up bars.
This is a welcome addition to the quality facilities and services already on offer including a 25metre pool, learner pool, toddler pool, all weather pitches, fitness classes, personal training, swimming lessons, children’s camps & birthday parties in addition to sauna and steam rooms.
