Level 5 Update
Dear Customer,
As a result of the Government announcing a move to Level 5, we are required to close our facilities until further notice.
- If you have paid in advance for pitch booking, gym visit or pool visit, Please login to the APP and cancel this now to ensure you receive any credit due.
- All memberships will be paused. Any days missed will be added to the length of the membership when we reopen.
- No Direct Debit payments will be called for – The last payment taken/made will allow for access until 8pm Wednesday 21st October.
(We would appreciate if you cancel a DD with the bank during this time, that you notify us by emailing accounts@leisureworldcork.com. This will help us avoid additional bank fees on reopening.)
Unfortunately during this closure we will not be in a position to respond to any queries.
If we move to Level 4 our facilities are still required to remain closed (unless this is updated). Once the government announce a move back to Level 3 or below, we will work to identify a re-opening date.
*Please note: The reopening date will be dependent on staff availability at that time, and also the viability & sustainability of the business at that time.
We fully support the Government in their actions to reduce the transmission of the virus, and look forward to opening our doors in more certain times.
We would like to thank all our customers for helping to keep us all safe over the past weeks, by following all requirements.
We would also like to acknowledge all our staff, who have worked under difficult circumstances to keep us all safe, and now unfortunately will be on temporary layoff during this time.
As an industry, we have been advocating that Gyms & Leisure facilities, including swimming pools, be allowed remain open. We continue to do so and hope that the requirement for closure be reviewed for the benefit of everyone’s mental & physical health. If you have the opportunity to promote that leisure facilities remain accessible with the appropriate precautions, we would appreciate all voices & support.
